I can no longer launch bf4 from Steam, Clicking the play button doesn’t do a thing but launch origin. bf4 on origin is now gray colored (look at attached picture). I tried this fix but ended in the same issue of not being able to launch it.

Because, like valve, EA keep their games to their own client. ^ summed it up pretty well. Each company has own flagship games with which they are to “hint” users that you need use their service.
