Never heard of arma or red orchestra, but battlefield and r6 are much slower games than call of duty. You should give ranked play a try, it’s 4v4 instead of 6v6 so it’s not nearly as chaotic, and it’s all obj modes which put the focus on strategy and tactics over raw gun skill. Might be more your speed, I much prefer it over pubs personally

I think the problem with Call of Duty is that Activision is marketing it more towards a young/immature audience that’s not intelligent enough to formulate their own opinions, so they hop on the hate-wagon and bash a game they’ve never even played.
