I’ve been on step 5/6 of the “A Seven Colored Shadow Quest” for a few days now, however I can’t seem to find Giovanni at all. In the past with these types of quests, i at least see him a fair amount, but this time around I havent even encountered him once. I see grunts and the 3 leaders plenty, just no giovanni.

Finding Giovanni isn’t like finding the other Team GO Rocket Leaders (Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra) who are discovered by collecting mysterious components from regular Team GO Rocket Grunts. Use the Super Rocket Radar to locate Giovanni. Be careful, some Grunts may pretend to be Giovanni. You will eventually find him and battle him..and again be careful, his team are the Legendary Shadow Birds. Defeat Giovanni and rescue the Legendary Shadow Pokemon.
The Super Rocket Radar doesn’t immediately lead you to Giovanni; it displays locations of both decoy Grunts disguised as Giovanni and Giovanni’s actual Hideout. You’ll need to approach each PokéStop and investigate yourself to find where Giovanni’s hiding.
