Vermeer is an NPC in Liyue. Prior to completing the quest Luhua Landscape, he can be found southwest of Luhua Pool between two giant statues just above the tide pools. After this quest has been completed, he will move to northeast of the pool, by the ruins near a Teleport Waypoint.

The quest is pretty straightforward to understand and complete, except for a single task which is to find Vermeer paintbrush in Genshin Impact. The Luhua Landscape quest is completely based near the Luhua Pool in the Liyue region. It all begins when you interact with an NPC named Vermeer. He is an artist who has lost his equipment.
There is a broken stone bridge up in the ruins near there. In the corner of that bridge you will find the golden spot again. Grab the item and return to Vermeer. He will then ask you to help him find another strange rock. There are three total and they are gold shiny things on the ground again. You can look around for them, or use these to help.
