For those unfamiliar, January 15th (or “115 Day”) is a special time when we take a moment to share a preview of what’s to come in Zombies, showcase some of our favorite creations from the community, and throw in a little 2XP to top it all off.
115 Day, or 15 January (1/15, unless you’re in the UK, in which case it’s 15/1), is a day of celebration for Call of Duty fans. For fans and developers alike, 115 Day is an annual celebration of zombies .
We’ve already talked to you about something very special coming on January 14, but first it is time to give you some context: What is 115 Day, you may ask? Well! It’s pretty cool actually – 115 Day is an annual celebration of zombies, and a reference to Element 115 from the Call of Duty law.

Vanguard Zombies will be getting a new update on January 11 in anticipation for “Day 115,” which looks to bring some exciting new content for the mode. In celebration of January 15, which Treyarch and fans are calling 115 Day, the devs are putting out a pretty significant update for Vanguard Season 1 Zombies just prior to the special date.
