This system was introduced to reduce the number of players quitting midmatch. Initially, the ban is short, only five minutes. Each time a player leaves, the length of time will increase.
I usually do this for the first kickoff of the match if unless I’m the only one in the position to go for the ball. I find that it works out good in case the other player is AFK or laggy or a complete fool that goes for corner boost at the start or wants to double commit on the kickoff.
