Maps are designed to be closer, with weapons not having enough range to deal with bolts action rifles otherwise to keep the scouts balenced.

One of my CoD fanboy friends claims that Battlefield 3 is ripping off Modern Warfare’s prone stance. He has only played Bad Company 2 and thinks Battlefield 3 is the first game in the series to feature the prone stance.
