I casually went into a conquest match, ran into a room and clicked crouch while running. My character performed a slide and I got a double hipfire kill mid-slide ending with a 6 man and clearing the whole room of enemies. I was shocked and thought it was a glitch at first lol. Basically Run, Click Crouch and keep running to perform a slide.

While sprinting, hit your toggle crouch button (or hold the regular crouch button, depending on which is easiest for you), and your character will perform a slide into a crouching position, moving in the direction you were sprinting.

Navigate to the in-game settings of Battlefield 1 and then to Gameplay. You will see Hit Indicator. That is your crosshair. Take the visibility up to 100% and change the colors of all three of the indicators. Doing so will help you in knowing when you hit a person, get a headshot or get a kill. 4. The default “custom” is identical to the “default” settings so all you need to do is swap the “crouch” and “melee” and “bayonet charge” options from “b” to “click rs” and then look for “crouch slide” and set it to “click rs” (when it asks to bind the buttons hit “yes”)
