The game is a pre-order, you can refund if you only play the beta (so long as the game doesn’t actually release before you refund). Steam allows refunds with beta time played. Also the Beta is separate as well so no issue whatsoever.

MEA’s order came up so I clicked the “+” sign next to it and then clicked “Cancel Order.” That was all I needed to cancel. I’m not sure what the procedure is for canceling a preorder on a console but it can’t be that much different.
