Aside from needing ‘access to ishgard’ there will be quests to complete and likely a class requirement like other jobs (I may be wrong on that point, though), but we wont know much of that until release most likely. If you have a lvl 43 blm, I’d recommend trying to get to level 50 asap and finishing all your story quests as such.
